​2012–2016
​Civic Society Initiative (CSI) is a community based organisation
for British Council library members. They create opportunities for young people
to develop skills and abilities in helping underprivileged people,
as well as opening a space to work with people from diverse cultures.
The CSI movement is currently running 16 projects, including
-
education through mobile libraries
-
healthcare through volunteer doctors and social welfare for elderly care
-
emergency relief programme and short fun-trips for the deprived children.
