​2012 - 2016

​Civic Society Initiative (CSI) is a community based organisation

for British Council library members. They create opportunities for young people

to develop skills and abilities in helping underprivileged people,

as well as opening a space to work with people from diverse cultures.

The CSI movement is currently running 16 projects, including

• education through mobile libraries

• healthcare through volunteer doctors and social welfare for elderly care

• emergency relief programme and short fun-trips for the deprived children.
